We have a cat of about 23 weeks we changed food when he started to get loose in the stomach & vomiting, this has been going on for 2 days now.
He does not eat the new food so we have changed back to the old food.
Shall we give him something else?
Any advice is appreciated!
Hey Berna!
Hope the cat is well now! Feed changes should always be made slowly to avoid an upset stomach. Good that you changed back feed.
If the cat does not eat, however, you should consult a veterinarian as it is dangerous for cats to starve even if it is only for a few days.
In acute uncomplicated diarrhea, it can be treated with easily digestible feed such as boiled chicken fillet or e.g. Hill´s i / d in small portions and Prokolin or Canikur.
But if the cat does not eat, you should, as I said, see a veterinarian.
