Hey!
I have a 3 year old female who is an indoor cat.
She vomits two to three times every two months.
Is that normal?
She always vomits up wet food and it does not matter what brand she gets (friskies or whiskas).
She usually has dry food in front but she gets wet food twice a day.
Despite the vomiting, she feels good and runs around playing.
Is this something dangerous?
Should I be worried?
Thanks for any reply!
Hey, Zoe! 👋
It is never normal for a cat to vomit other than occasional hairballs.
If she vomits more often than once a month, it is a bit too much and you should try to do something about it.
You can start by trying a food that is a little kinder to the stomach.
If this does not work, it may be necessary to consult a veterinarian.
Try e.g. Bozita Feline Diet & Stomach – Sensitive Tetra, Royal Canin Sensible 33 or James Wellbeloved Turkey and rice.
You can also try Hill’s I / D or Royal Canin’s gastrointestinal, which are special feeds made to be extra easily digestible.
Hope that was the answer to your question!
