I have a cat who is 9 years old and he has started behaving strangely.
He is quite angry but still cuddly.
You must not lift him and he seems to have pain in the back.
He reacts very strongly and moans in pain.
He mostly wants to lie down and be at peace.
I’ll take him to senior inspection and I hope he has a few years more to live.
He does not seem to be generally influenced and is often a cat fighter.
I clean the wounds with saline solution.
Does it seem like I can wait until December and check him out or should I do it earlier?
Hey!
Problems with back pain are common in older cats.
Cats with back problems may need treatment with painkillers and in some cases also special food or supplements as well as physiotherapy.
Hope your cat is well now!
