Hey!
My cat was ear-tipped a little over a month ago and after the tattoo, all the hair in that ear has disappeared and it shows no sign of growing back.
I have not seen her scratch her ear, so that should not be the reason.
What could this be due to?

When you ear-tip a cat, you shave the inside of the earlobe and it may take a while before it grows out.
Is there a lack of fur on the outside as well?
If there is no fur on the outside, I unfortunately do not know what it may be due to.
Contact your local veterinarian for examination if the coat does not return.
