If a cat has a low level of red blood cells, are there tablets (over-the-counter / prescription) or a diet that can be given to increase the level?
I guess blood pudding could be an option, but unfortunately the cat hates it.
The reason for the question is that we would need to treat the cat with tablets for thyroid problems, but since it reduces the level of red blood cells, it is not completely successful. Got any tips?

Unfortunately, there is not much you can do with over-the-counter supplements or food, not even blood pudding.
The best way to treat anemia is to find out what is causing the anemia and treat it.
Anemia is a rare side effect due to treatment with Felimazole (tablets for hyperthyroidism).
If it is not completely clear why the cat has anemia, I would recommend trying to find out first.
