Hey!
We just got a kitten.
My question is if a kitten that is 13 weeks old can eat boiled cod or Alaska pollocks?
Hello,
Glad you got a cat!
A kitten can eat boiled fish, you usually give it for stomach / intestinal problems since it is kind to the stomach or as a little “extra” in addition to the usual food.
Keep in mind that it is important that your kitten is primarily given a food developed for growing cats that covers the nutritional needs.
If you give too much boiled fish, or too often, they eat the correspondingly smaller amount of the usual food and this can mean that they do not get enough of all the nutrients.
So my advice is to give a small piece of fish every now and then but to invest in a good kitten food brand.
Good luck with your cat!
