We have a male cat who goes on Phenoleptil because he has epilepsy, he is about 15 years old and is now constantly hungry and never gets enough of food, wakes us up at night and wants more food.
He is thin and seems alert but constantly tired.
What can the constant hunger be due to?
The medication?

Hey!
Increased hunger can be a side effect of the medicine but it can also be due to other diseases such as hyperthyroidism (toxic goiter).
If the cat is thin, I recommend that you take him to a veterinarian for examination and sampling.
