I need advice. How do I keep stray cats away from my garden (villa plot).
I do not have a cat myself but have problems with other people’s cats who use my plot as a toilet.
Have tried everything in the department store, nothing has helped for a long time.
I have toddlers who involuntarily come in contact with the cat’s feces.
The cats splash a little here and there in my garden.
Would be grateful if you have any serious advice.
Hey, Nils!
The best way to tell cats that they are unwanted is water – in large quantities.
If you have a water hose in the garden, then open it fully towards the cat, every time you see one on the plot.
Otherwise, have a bucket full of water ready and give each cat the entire bucket.
Water works best on cats, if most of it hits the head, preferably the face. It should probably be done a few times, before the cats “grasp the message”.
Otherwise, the only effective thing is to fence the whole plot, so they can not enter.
Getting a dog, for example, is not always as effective as you might think, because many dogs just think it’s nice and fun with cat guests…
