Hi. I have two indoor cats that are neutered.
One of my cats need to be slimmed down a bit, but not the other.
How do I proceed?
Can both eat diet food?
Which?
It does not work to give them different number of meals.
I try to play with him but it’s not always he wants to, and once he plays it only lasts a few minutes then he gets tired.
Now they eat Brit food for sterilized cats, and wet food 2-3 times a day, then they share a bag.
Last time I was at the vet he said that the cat is a bit chunky possibly but not obese.

It would be best if you could feed the cats separately so that the overweight cat can get diet food and the other can continue eating the regular food.
Make sure that the overweight cat does not receive anything other than its diet food, ie no sweets or leftover food.
It’s good that you’re trying to play with him and activate him, maybe an activation food bowl could be an option?
