Hey!
I’m going to get a Norwegian forest cat, but now I’m working eight to nine hours every day, can the cat manage or should I get another cat to keep it company?
My Norwegian forest cat is a male, should I get a male or female?
Which go best together?
They will be indoor cats, unfortunately (live on the eighth floor).
I had planned to get one for next year but maybe better get one for now so they can get to know each other immediately?
Thankful for any thoughts you might have.
Hey!
I think it’s a long time to be alone for a cat.
Kid or adult cats both have advantages and disadvantages, you get a cat you want and deserve if you take a kitty. An adult can have things you do not like, but it can also be a wonderful friend without any “problems” as well with male / female.
I think that a neutered male is the absolute easiest, but it depends on whether you want kittens or not.
Two kittens usually turn to each other and play.
But there is no obstacle to getting two, not even later, but it should probably get company.
If you work or maybe you have someone who can take care of it for a while and give it some company.
A radio is usually safe for them to hear when you leave them for a while.
Hope my advice helps!
