Hi! Thank you for the lovely website you’ve put together.
I have a male cat who is 4 months old and he was vaccinated and chipped this week and the vet said that if we are going to neuter him we can vaccinate him for the second time in 4 weeks. He will be 5 months old by then.
Is it not a little early for a kitten of 5 months to be neutered?
What do you think?

Hey!
It is usually possible to neuter male cats at 5 months of age.
Different veterinary clinics have slightly different age limits and if your veterinarian is comfortable with castration at 5 months of age, there is no danger.
