We have a nearly nine-year-old female cat that we are now considering whether she should stop taking birth control pills.
Is it too late for her to get a first litter?
Are there high risks of complications during a possible birth?
She is in very good shape otherwise.

Hey!
I would not recommend getting a first litter at 9 years of age.
For a cat that has had previous litters, it is good to take a litter up to 10 years of age if she is in good condition.
