Hey!
I have a question regarding one of my cats.
It is a neutered female cat, does not know the exact age, but she is about 20 years old.
She is alert, but almost deaf eats and keeps going.
But, lately (maybe for a period of 1 year) she has started peeing in one of our guest beds, she does not do it all the time but once in a while, especially if we are not home or we have not noticed that she wants out.
This is nothing she’s done before, she’s an outdoor cat.
She has lost a little weight, but she is still nice in the fur and she eats as I said.
I am thinking that there might be something wrong with the thyroid gland?
I know I should go to the vet but, do you know what such an examination can cost to check out?
Grateful for answers!
Hi!
It is probably not unlikely that she has an illness that makes her not feel completely well.
It can lead to behavioral changes such as that she pees outside the box.
What a veterinary visit costs depends a lot on what is to be done and which clinic you go to.
I would think that it costs at least $150 USD, but depending on what needs to be done, there may be more.
