Hey!
My youngest cat of about 1.5 years has some problems with foul-smelling discharge that comes sometimes.
She was neutered this spring, but since she ran a lot when she became sexually mature, I had to wait a couple of weeks before I could castrate her, she then started peeing inside when she ran.
She can still pee on carpets and the like.
Is there any risk that it has something to do with the matter?
I have read that cats can get chlamydia but both my cats are females and indoor cats, they are also siblings from different litters.
She does not seem to suffer from these discharges, and had it not been for the fact that it smelled so much, I would not have suffered from it either.
They do not come often, got a drop on me today but before that it was probably a couple of months since I noticed something last.
Grateful for any answers! 🙂
Hey!
I would recommend taking her to a vet to check out the discharge.
It can be due to problems from the bladder but in some cases also from problems in the cervix (the stump that remains after castration).
Chlamydia in cats is not the same as in humans, but they usually have problems with eye inflammation from chlamydia.
