Hey!
I have a 4 year old cat and have just got a 12 week old kitten.
The problem is that they eat each other’s food.
Is it dangerous for the kitten if she eats dry food adapted for adult cats and vice versa?
I can not keep track of what they eat when I sleep and during the day when I am not home.
There is no possibility to lock a cat in a separate room when one is to get food either. They get free access to dry food

Hey!
It is not dangerous for cats to eat each other’s food.
If possible, it is an advantage if they stick to their own food as much as possible, but if it is impossible, it is not a disaster.
An alternative can be to buy a food that works for both adults and kittens such as Orijen Cat and Kitten. Good luck!
