My cat has been breastfed!
She is six years old and neutered for five years and has not run since then and is guaranteed not to be pregnant as she is an indoor cat.
It started with the two posterior udders being slightly swollen and intensely blushing for a couple of days four months ago and I was afraid it was breast cancer and took her to the vet.
At the time of the visit, the redness had receded and the veterinarian did not feel any lumps or the like. But since then, two distinctive posterior breasts have developed.
I have been thinking about whether this is about weight gain, I had to change feed in November when my local pet store closed, it is possible that I gave her a little too much food during the first two 50 days, but this does not explain the posterior reddened nipples.
She does not seem to feel bad otherwise or behaves differently and is as kind as usual and has made me feel and squeeze gently after changes under the skin without seeming bothered.
What can this be?
Can weight gain settle on the posterior breasts only?

Weight gain often looks to be a hanging bag far back on your cat’s stomach if that’s what you’re referring to.
However, it does not usually settle on the udder parts themselves.
Cats can suffer from mammary hyperplasia which is hormonally caused.
It most often occurs in unneutered cats or cats that receive hormone therapy of some kind (such as birth control pills).
If your cat’s udder grows abnormally much, it is best to let the vet look at this again.
