I have taken over an adult cat (eight years) for the past year and have never had a cat before. She is both an indoor and outdoor cat. She loves to be out on shorter adventures during the summer.

I have heard that cats, especially when they are out, can get worms in their stomachs. I suspect she has been affected by this but am not sure as I do not know the symptoms of this.

She licks herself a lot in the back (more than usual) and is therefore somewhat irritated. It may also look like something light worm-like is coming out.

How do I diagnose worm and what type of worm it is?

I have understood that there are different remedies for worms depending on the variety, but that there is also a remedy for several different types of worms.

What do you recommend?
