Got home a farmer kitten 12 weeks ago.

When we were there and picked her up, the “breeder” told us that she and her siblings were a little smaller in size and so is the mother.

Saw the mother and of course she was a little smaller but nothing extreme.

However, it was not something we saw as a problem then, as we saw that the kitten ate properly when we were there.

Now we have thought more and more about that she is small.

Very, very small.

Her body size is comparable to an eight-week-old kitten.

She has got her final eye color, her permanent teeth, eats and drinks, goes to the toilet and plays and is alert. She gets both good dry food and soft food.

She behaves like a normal kitten but we worry about her size.

She is round and good on the stomach, but as I said very small and with a narrow tail.

Going to the vet in about a week with her but maybe I can get some answer here too. Could I have been fooled about her age?
